Torsten Erik Malm is a tattoo artist from Estonia who specializes in color realism.

Before Torsten started tattooing he was playing Receiver for the Helsinki Roosters. At the same time he was working on his PhD in Mathematics at the Aalto University in Espoo, Finland.

“I really didn’t have a lot of experience in drawing, painting or any form of Art, but things fell in place as they tend to do if you put a lot of effort into the things you love and have passion for. When I really fell for drawing I knew it was something I wanted to learn and become better at. From that day on I spent most mornings before work and most nights after work drawing with my wife. This of course led to tattooing, which I’ve always had an interest towards. I’m extremely happy this interest grew into a passion”

At the moment Torsten is working in Tallinn in a private studio, which they run together with his wife.
